The time of my life is I and I today,
Smiling at my mistakes and warning me against war and its despair.
The love of my life is I and I today,
wanting me to be yours.
Since love is the master of my soul, and light its command,
In love I will rest in this day for the eternity of I and I.
One thing with the soul is that it holds onto light,
as I hold onto love.
Love and light are the faces of the same coin,
and that is the coin of the beloved.
